The "Charter Index Online" system
This system (you are looking at the public facing elements of it right now) is at the centre of all Charter Index's online activities. Access to the system is restricted to professional users by subscription only and protected by Password.
Other technology based services include -
- the de-branded retail yacht search system (RYS) which is a charter yacht database and search engine for use on retail Charter Agency/Broker websites (Charter Index Portals) which can also be seen operating on an exclusive basis on www.yachtingmagazine.com
- the Central Agency and Clearing House charter reservation and enquiry tracking system.
- search engine optimisation (SEO) and XML feed services.
The Printed "Charter Index" publication
This quarterly (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) publication has, over a 25 year history, established itself as the industry's only principal quick reference information source. This printed directory lists the same information as can be found in the online system, but in condensed form. The directory also includes (commencing the Winter edition 2010) significant editorial content on exclusively industry oriented issues and will increase the volume of this content until it raises the Charter Index directory to 'magazine' status within it's own pages.
