The Charter Index database contains two types of data - text and images - which are
included in Charter Index's Online and Print products, distributed to most of the world's
Charter Agents.

The text contains all the information a Charter Agent needs to research yachts and on
how to make contact with each yacht's Central Agent in order to progress the booking.

The image database consists of high quality pictures, properly set out in a recognisable
and formatted way. Each yacht's image database usually comprises about 25 photographs
(exteriors, cabins, staterooms, toys, dining arrangements etc), layout diagrams, sample
menus, crew photographs and descriptive information. This is an "Electronic Brochure".

Each yacht's Electronic Brochure is fully integrated with that yacht's textual data in the
Online system, thus enabling professional Charter Agents to view and print or email the
pictures, as well as the text, to potential retail clients.

Each Electronic Brochure has it's own url which enables anyone provided with it to access
the Brochure via the internet. Some yacht Captains print their yacht's Electronic Brochure
url on their business cards. Electronic Brochures do not carry dynamic or confidential data
(rates and bookings data) or booking instructions or 'system' branding or Central Agent
information. They are solely intended as marketing aids which - provided the user has
been provided with the url - are accessible without restriction.
