Rhea is a classic tall ship one of only a handful sailing today, built in Nyborg, Denmark in 1900 she originally carried stone from quarries to sea defence works. A true sailing ship her first auxiliary engine was not fitted until 1922. Her owners purchased Rhea in 1989 and since that time they have undertaken a complete restoration and fitted & designed an interior to suit the needs of discerning charterers whilst maintaining her charm and glory.

Below deck, Rhea is attractively paneled throughout in pine with teak fittings and oak beams. There is a large, spacious saloon with a lounging area and a beautiful teak dining table. Rhea accommodates up to eight guests in four comfortable cabins with en suite facilities and air conditioning. For large groups a further double cabin can be made available. The aft cabin has a double and a single bed, the forward cabin has a double and the port and starboard cabins can be either doubles or twins.

Rhea's large deck area offers ample space for sunbathing on full length deck mattresses, whilst the cushioned seating area is perfect for relaxed alfresco dining in the shade of the sun awning. The owners David and Penny have been chartering since 1982. Together with a hostess and deckhand they extend a personal welcome and a professional attention to detail to ensure warm hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a choice of itineraries and activities to suit all guests aboard. .
