Captain Gerrit Scheper
Gerrit, who has dual citizenship in the Netherlands and Barbados, has over a decade of pleasure and commercial sailing in various roles as owner, delivery skipper, flotilla skipper/engineer, and sailing instructor. He also has Tallship experience and has been a delivery skipper on the TransAtlantic passage. Gerrit has also led several private sailing flotillas and raced in various Caribbean regattas.
When Gerrit is asked about how it feels to sail ARROW he says “ARROW is a phenomenal sailing machine, reaching 11knots close reaching with only Genoa and foresail with 1 reef in f5/6. On the beam to broad reach Antigua to St. Maarten she effortlessly does 10knots in 15knots wind with Genoa, fore and main. The helm is light and very responsive.”
Gerrit loves to sail and wants to share that with his guests. He looks forward to sharing his time and talents with his guests in order to help them have the best experience they can.

Charlie Revell Stewardess / Deckhand / Chef / ODP
Charlie is from the United Kingdom and is passionate about the ocean, it’s cleanliness, and its wildlife and thoroughly enjoys the Caribbean culture. She enjoys travelling, sailing, live music, creative crafting, and meeting and understanding new cultures.

Charlie has over 10 years of experience in the United Kingdom’s National Health Service as a Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) and was heavily involved during Covid-19. When she lived in the Channel Islands, she was an Honorary Police Officer for 4 years and supported the force and local community. Prior to that she was on the Maidstone United volleyball team and swam in several competitions.

Charlie has many years of working in the hospitality sector prior to and during her University years. She enjoys tasting and experimenting with foods and cocktails and likes to share these experiences with others. A team player with attention to detail, she looks forward to supporting guests to enable them to have a positive and unforgettable experience.
