Joshua has been working on large yachts for the past 8 years, ranging from75m motor yachts to 25m sailing yachts.

With a background in personal training and team leadership, Joshua thrives on the social aspect of chartering Aegir, with excellent interactions with the clients throughout charters and also following up later in season.

Aegir is Joshua’s first Captains position, he started as the Mate on board in the summer of 2020 and was rapidly catapulted to Captain status, completing his first charter in St Tropez 2020.

After a very busy and successful charter season of 2021, he is very much looking forward to an exciting and adventurous summer of 2022, showing off the beautiful coastlines of the Western Mediterranean to charter clients and owner alike.

When Joshua isn’t busy enjoying sailing the seas on Aegir, he enjoys playing and coaching a local rugby team in Mallorca, as well has going on expeditions around the island hunting out the best waves to surf.

He is an outgoing and charismatic character, always looking to have fun and share an exciting experience on board, coupled with a very direct and hands on attitude to the safety and comfort of the clients on board.
