Mannschaft
Joe grew up in Western New York and has been boating all his life. He has been operating vessels professionally for over 30 years and has captioned vessels ranging from offshore racing sailboats and traditional wooden schooners to mega-yachts and cargo ships. He has sailed throughout New England, the Great Lakes, all along the East and Gulf Coasts and the Bahamas and Caribbean.
Joe’s professional background includes marine engineering, celestial navigation instructor, commercial pilot, and Accredited Marine Surveyor. Throughout his professional yachting career, Joe has focused on safe vessel operations while ensuring the guests onboard experience the very best the yacht has to offer. Joe’s hobbies include helicopter flying, SCUBA diving, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is a non-smoker and stays fit by distance swimming.
