Équipage
Tim’s love of the ocean began on the south coast of England where he learnt to sail and dive. With a love for culture, adventure and discovery, he turned this passion into a career and spent many years as a diving and sailing instructor where he received great satisfaction seeing people enjoy, learn, and overcome their fears, before pursuing a career in yachting
Tim has crossed many of the vast oceans of our planet and there are not may places he hasn’t cruised to; intimately familiar with the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, he has also enjoyed sailing in Alaska, Australasia, and SE Asia. Tim especially enjoys coastal cruising, discovering intimate anchorages for his guests to enjoy their time on board. Whilst on board, Tim and the rest of the crew will prioritise your safety and look forward to helping you relax and enjoy the Metsuyan experience.
When not at sea, you will mostly find Tim on his bicycle or enjoying many other sporting pursuits. He is also rather partial to a challenging game of chess.
Giovanni Napoli
Firts MateGiovanni is Metsuyan’s first mate and second in command. His love of travel has taken him across the globe.
An experienced first mate, he started to build his career in yachting five years ago working on both charter and private yachts, where he gained many qualifications.
Enjoying the outdoors, Giovanni has a passion for kite surfing and wake boarding. He is also an ardent fan of salsa and in his spare time like to play the guitar.
