Brian John Miller

Captain Brian Miller, South African born, grew up in sunny Durban, an East Coast city on the Indian Ocean. Brian loves the outdoors, water sports, and has adventurous spirits, hence them making the lifestyle choice to change careers and go chartering in the exotic Caribbean.
Captain Brian Miller trained in the corporate business world after completing his Marketing Degree, served as Regional Manager for a large Distribution company, before venturing into his company for 25 years, a Sales / Marketing / Warehouse (Cold Storage) and Distribution business specializing in frozen and chilled convenience foods. He has been sailing since the age of 12, mainly recreational and done lots of Ocean racing up and down the treacherous South African coast which includes 9 Vasco De Gama races (320 nautical miles from Maputo, Mozambique to Durban, South Africa). He sold up and moved to the Caribbean to be nearer to his two sons, who are also Charter Captains in the area for the past 7 years. Brian has been running charters since August 2009 throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Bahamas and has acquired vast experience and knowledge of the area. He recently completed an 850 mile sailing adventure around Italy, Sicily and Greece and a trans-Atlantic crossing aboard Acropal V. He holds an MCA Master of Yachts, 200 ton license, a South African Yacht Master Certificate, is STCW95 compliant (i.e. trained in first aid, survival at sea and fire fighting skills) and has a PADI Open Water certification.
Brian has an outgoing personality and enjoys meeting and entertaining people, so the luxurious yacht Acropal V is the ideal place to match his skills and experience with enthusiastic guests wanting an extra special charter vacation in the idyllic setting of the Caribbean and now also offer exploring the exciting, vibrant area of Turkey and Greece. Whether you are after historic sites, secluded coves, superb diving/snorkeling, long white beaches, calm bays for water sports, amazing star gazing and sailing, Brian is looking forward to pampering, indulging and spoiling you from sun up till yawn aboard the luxuriously well appointed yacht Acropal V.

Cheri Gover

In the spring of 2009 I decided to sell my company to fulfil my lifelong dream of travelling the world. The Caribbean was the first port of call and that’s where I have been ever since. I have always had a passion for food and so it was only natural that I began to cook on catamarans. I have enjoyed working for Charter companies as the Chef and Stewardess as well as Deckhand and being involved with deliveries throughout the Caribbean and filling in as relief crew when needed. Drawing on my experiences from running my own business I have had the pleasure of ensuring that guests have had a great time to remember.
