Boat DogBamboo is a St. John ‘Coconut Retriever’ who was originally a Puerto Rican street dog (Sato). She is 7-years old (give or take) and has been aboard for over three-years.
She is friendly, yet unobtrusive, and is the favorite part of the vacation to guests. Many little girls have gone home wishing they can take Bamboo.
Bamboo is likely the most photographed dog aboard a boat. Most notably, she recently starred on the cover of ``Hamptons Dog Magazine`` and a pet coffee table book, ``Tails.``
