Brook Bennett

Captain

Capt. Brook Bennett grew up in North Carolina where he learned to sail and fish off the Carolina coast. In 1995 he attended the Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart, Florida. When faced with the choice of working on tugboats in the Gulf of Mexico or a yacht in the Bahamas after school, Brook chose yachting and has never looked back. In his almost 20 years’ experience in the industry, he has traveled the west coast of the USA from Alaska to Panama, the east coast of the USA from Florida to Maine, the Great Lakes, Caribbean, Bahamas and the Mediterranean. He has transited the Erie Canal, traversed the Panama Canal seven times, and crossed the Atlantic twice. Brook joined Fleet Miami in November 2014 as captain of M/Y Andiamo. He still holds his southern charm around guests and strives to make everyone aboard feel comfortable and safe. In his spare time he is an avid fly fisherman and golfer.

She chose to enter the industry due to her love of people, event planning, and travel. Always up for an adventure, Jeanine enjoys the fact that yachting keeps her on her toes with the constant changes in weather, itinerary, and guests.

Jeanine loves staying active, and when she is ashore she participates in competitive kickball, travelling to tournaments across the US. Water sports such as fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding also keeps her busy, and she recently has taken up painting with oil pastels to satisfy her need for artistic expression while onboard.

With her fresh outlook, positive energy, and dedication to detail, Jeanine is a valuable member of the Andiamo crew.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Psychology Minor from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst; NAUI Open Water Dive Certified; Certificates for Yacht Interior Introduction Course, Food Service, Safety & Hygiene, Wine & Cocktail Intro Course, Floral Design & Care, Silver Service.

Prior to yachting, Michelle worked in the restaurant business for 11 years, and she is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. Michelle loves working on yachts, and takes particular pride in the immaculate presentation and high-end service required. She loves the opportunity to get to know guests from all over the world and the beautiful destinations that she gets to explore. Michelle is also a professional artist; her specialty is in acrylic and oil paintings. In her free time, Michelle enjoys playing volleyball, surfing, wakeboarding, swimming, snorkeling, and working out.
