Born in true Sydney style, surfing and lifeguarding along Sydney's Iconic northern beaches Matty developed a passion for the sea at a young age. Completing a degree and doing a short stint in the media industry, Matty quickly realised desk life wasn't for him, so he packed his bags and set off to voyage around the world. Joining yachting in 2012, achieving his Master 3000, Matty brings a wealth of experience, confidence and calm to life onboard. Matty now calls West Palm Brach, Florida home, where in his down time you can find him catching waves, kite-surfing, or absolutely shredding it with his air- guitar solos, you especially don't want to miss out on seeing these. Matty brings great energy to the Wanderlust team creating an unforgettable experience for all on board.

Outside of yachting, Gareth loves adventure and the outdoors. Whether it’s motocross, mountain biking, surfing, or exploring nature, he’s happiest when staying active. Passionate about teamwork and personal growth, he also enjoys mentoring crew and helping create a positive atmosphere onboard. Friendly, approachable, and always up for an adventure, Gareth brings a fun and welcoming presence wherever he goes.

Eddie began his yachting career in 2013 as a dive instructor and deckhand before going on to specialise in new build projects. Over the years, he has worked with leading shipyards including Feadship, Rossinavi, and Lürssen on yachts ranging from 50 to 140 metres.
After years abroad, Eddie returned to New Zealand with his partner Lauren in late 2022, finally convincing her that NZ was the better place to raise their daughter. Having grown up around the Hauraki Gulf, he has always had a strong connection to the ocean and enjoys fishing, surfing, diving, spearfishing, relaxing at the beach, and embracing life as a proud girl dad. Friendly, experienced, and easygoing, Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge along with a relaxed and approachable presence onboard.

Georgia has been part of the yachting industry for eight years after discovering the world of
superyachts during a ski season, turning point that sparked a career built around adventure and travel, two of her absolute favourite things. Georgia is our all adventure girlie, not just at sea on land too. Motorcross? Yep. Hiking? Absolutely. Ski touring? Of course. She even holds a helicopter license... casually impressive, just like her. Ask her about the three-day family hiking trip from Chamonix to Courmayeur… where they realised a little too late they’d forgotten their passports. Talk about getting caught off guard. If Georgia were a sea creature she’d be a majestic mermaid, graceful, adventurous, and completely at home on the water. With Georgia on watch, guests can fully relax and enjoy their time on the water.

Tomasz has spent over seven years in the yachting industry, combining solid experience with a real love for adventure. Originally from Poland, he is a qualified yacht officer, divemaster, and freediver — just as happy navigating on deck as he is exploring beneath the surface. His yachting career started completely by chance after a conversation at a party introduced him to the industry. Inspired to take a leap, Tomasz left his job within days and soon found himself dock-walking in search of his first role onboard. When he’s not at sea or underwater, Tomasz is usually chasing adrenaline through mountain biking, climbing, and exploring new challenges. Easygoing, motivated, and always up for an adventure, he brings great energy wherever he goes.

Tom has spent the last six years working on both sailing and motor yachts, cruising all around the globe. For the last three and a half years, he has been part of the Wanderlust team, enjoying life at sea in some of the world’s most incredible destinations while helping guide newer members of the Wanderlust family and captaining the yacht’s beautiful Windy tender. Before joining the yachting industry, Tom worked as a sailing instructor and for a ski chalet company in the French Alps. When he’s not on the water, he enjoys kitesurfing, diving, backcountry skiing, dinghy racing, and keeping fit. Calm, easygoing, and always happy to help, Tom brings a relaxed and professional presence onboard and is always ready to get guests where they need to go.

Originally from New Zealand, Leon is a true Kiwi with a lifelong passion for the water. With a
grandad in the Royal Navy, a dad always out on his boat, and a mum who worked on the local ferries, a life at sea was almost inevitable. As a kid, Leon even built his own floating wooden boats using string and rocks as anchors, launching them down the neighbour’s creek — much to their frustration. Since starting his yachting career in 2015, Leon has thrived in the fast-paced, close-knit team environment onboard and is always ready to jump in wherever needed. If Leon were a cocktail, he’d be an espresso martini — energetic, lively, and hard to miss. Wherever he goes, he brings great energy, plenty of laughs, and the perfect playlist to match the vibe onboard.

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, with British and French roots, Dylan has always had a passion for adventure and travel. Thanks to his mother’s career in the Safari industry, he spent much of his childhood exploring Africa, developing a love for different cultures, new experiences, and the great outdoors. Before yachting, Dylan built a successful career in property development, honing the leadership and problem-solving skills he brings on board today. He even took a brief break from the nomadic lifestyle to decide whether land or sea was where he belonged — but the ocean quickly won, and Wanderlust had no trouble drawing him back. A versatile member of the team, Dylan seamlessly switches between Bosun and Chase Boat Captain duties, stepping in whenever it’s someone else’s
turn to swap deck shoes for pina coladas on shore. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, he takes both roles in his stride. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him on the golf course, at the beach, or enjoying a braai with family and friends.

Growing up in New Zealand and spending many years traveling abroad working and teaching water sports has shaped Kirby’s deep passion for all things water and ocean related. He has been involved in water sports from a young age, both recreationally and competitively, and thrives in high-energy environments. Kirby holds two world titles in surf lifesaving (IRB racing), competing alongside his twin brother, an achievement that speaks to both his skill and dedication. He is also a certified Divemaster with over 200 logged dives, bringing extensive underwater experience to any operation. For five years, Kirby worked as a water sports instructor with Camp America, where he taught water skiing, wakeboarding, and flyboarding to students of all levels. Not just a water baby, Kirby is an adrenaline junkie on land as well whether it’s motorbikes or skateboards, he’s always chasing the next thrill… and who knows, Nitro Circus might be next.

Originally from Cornwall, Lukas joined the yachting industry one year ago for the freedom it offers and the opportunity to be part of a close, supportive team. He enjoys working in a high-standard environment where everyone relies on each other. Lukas brings a strong sports therapy and personal training background to his role onboard. His expertise allows him to support crew wellbeing through injury prevention, recovery, and performance-focused conditioning an invaluable asset in the physically demanding yachting environment. Whenever Wanderlust arrives in a new destination, Lukas can usually be found heading out for a long run, using the opportunity to explore and map out the surrounding landscape.

From Melbourne, Australia, with German heritage, Jeremy’s love of adventure and the water started with time spent on the family boat with his dad. Growing up, his dad also played in a few bands, which meant Jeremy was surrounded by music from an early age, a spark that eventually grew into a full-blown passion and now a career as a DJ, blending his love of sound with his love of technology, another true interest of Jeremy’s (He does it all, sea to sound to systems). Relatively new to yachting, Jeremy is highly motivated and eager to make his mark in the industry. in. When he’s not on deck or behind the DJ decks, you can usually find Jeremy enjoying a good old Aussie beach BBQ or getting stuck into a game of beach volleyball. He previously coached the sport in Melbourne and even had the opportunity to DJ at a beach volleyball event in Spain perfectly combining yet another of his favourite passions.

Billy was born and raised on the beautiful Waiheke Island, just off Auckland City. At only 19.3 km long, the island is home to more than 30 wineries — so it’s slightly surprising he’s not a sommelier by now. Drawn more to the sea than the grapes, Billy spent his childhood fishing, surfing, and boating, basically living life on the water. After countless hours at sea, joining the yachting industry in 2018 felt like a natural next step. He started out on a dive support vessel before heading home to help run the family construction business, but it wasn’t long before Wanderlust lured him back to the ocean once again. Cheerful, chilled, and always up for a laugh, Billy brings his relaxed Kiwi nature and easygoing energy wherever he goes onboard.

Lilly joined the yachting industry at 21 and quickly worked her way from Junior Stewardess to Chief Stewardess by just 24, thanks to her drive, dedication, and love for life at sea. Highly active and always up for a challenge, Lilly competed in rowing throughout school and has completed half marathons in both Vancouver and Ireland, with trail running now next on the list. Known for creating events guests never forget, Lilly brings endless energy and creativity onboard — her favourite event so far being a glamorous Venetian Night filled with glitz, glam, and guests dressed to impress. If she wasn’t in yachting, she’d likely be an adventure guide or professional party planner, combining her love for excitement, people, and unforgettable experiences.

By just 16, she was already a qualified riding instructor, which soon took her to the USA to teach. Her hospitality journey began at a local five-star wedding and events venue, where she spent years managing large-scale events, mastering the art of keeping calm while juggling chaos, and finding joy in bringing people’s dream events to life. Positive, energetic, and always up for the next adventure, Jordyn loves meeting new people and making those around her happy. With her love of travel and the ocean, yachting quickly became the perfect fit. Over the past seven years, she has worked on a range of high-end vessels, building valuable experience while delivering exceptional
service onboard. She still loves life at sea — exploring new destinations, enjoying watersports, and quite literally dancing her way around the world. Wherever Jordyn goes, great energy, big smiles, and plenty of laughs are never far behind.

Erin grew up in the beach town of Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, where life revolved around the ocean, athletics, and most importantly surf lifesaving,— so you can relax knowing our very own lifeguard is always close by. After completing a degree in Economics and starting a career in professional services, this smart cookie quickly realized life was far too short for spreadsheets and office walls, so she swapped the office for the ocean and hasn’t looked back since. When she’s not onboard, Erin can usually be found at the beach, out hiking, or playing golf with her parents back home in New Zealand. As a proud Kiwi, she also makes a dangerously good pavlova. She’s currently learning Spanish with dreams of one day moving to the Dominican Republic — fun fact, if you’re lucky you may catch her pulling out an impressive worm on the dance floor.

Grainne — or “G” for short — is our Irish-Australian… though you’ll probably guess pretty quickly which side has had the bigger influence. She first joined the yachting industry thinking one season would cure her craving for the nomadic lifestyle, but after moving home, she realised she missed life at sea far too much and soon found herself right back where she belongs. With a strong background in hospitality, fine dining, and cocktail service, G loves creating joyful moments for guests and crew alike. Always wearing a huge grin, she’s an absolute hoot to be around and brings endless energy and enthusiasm to everything onboard. A true ray of sunshine, G loves her job and, while she enjoys spending time back in Australia with her big Irish family, she always misses her Wanderlust family
when she’s away. One of G’s many talents is being a certified sailing instructor with a huge passion for watersports. Be sure to ask her about her world championship sailing race — what started as a startline disaster somehow turned into one of her best races yet.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Lucia is the baby on board at just 21 — but don’t let her age fool
you, her go-to attitude and strong personality make her an absolute grafter. An avid snowboarder,
dedicated reformer Pilates enthusiast, and creative whiz in the kitchen, her adventurous spirit
shines through her love of music, festivals, and discovering new cultures. Warm and approachable,
Lucia is always ready with a smile. If Lucia were an animal she’d be a mare cat: playful, cheeky, always in the middle of the action, and we can’t forget nosy, making sure she knows every hot topic before anyone else. Be sure to go to her for any crew goss.

Sacchi hails from Noosa, Australia, and growing up near the ocean, she’s always been drawn to water sports and everything sea-related. The yachting world called to her because it lets her combine her love of hospitality with travel and adventure. In her young life, Sacchi was a professional dancer, mastering all kinds of moves. Ask her to break out a hip-hop routine or even better, break dancing — she’s sure to be moving in true Australian spirit, and who knows, she might even be headed for the Olympics one day! Aside from her crazy moves Saachi has an incredibly calming, soothing, and effortlessly approachable, personality, a true way of making everyone feel at ease. In her free time, you’ll usually find her staying active — sailing, diving, surf coaching, or exploring new destinations, always on the move and loving every moment.

Rachael Malin, from Hertfordshire, UK, is our amazing spa therapist on board, working absolute magic with her hands and solving any aches or pains like a wizard. She started her career at just 17, straight out of school, following her passion for beauty and making others feel pampered. Rachael loves Pilates, shopping, exploring, watersports, and has a secret talent for playing the flute. Move over James Galway, Rachael is coming in hot with her rendition of Greensleeves! If Rachael were a fruit, veggie, or anything other than a human, she’d be a strawberry, sweet, vibrant, and, unsurprisingly, her absolute favourite.

Julia was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, and after working as a nurse on a surgical ward, she swapped scrubs for the yachting industry to combine her love of people, travel, and adventure. Her background gave her great attention to detail and a calm, caring nature — skills that now help her create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests onboard. Full of energy and always on the go, Julia is the definition of a live-life-to-the-fullest kind of girl. She loves getting involved in absolutely everything, whether it’s watersports, hiking, exploring new places, or convincing everyone else to join in too. Her favorites paddleboarding buddy is her dog Millie. Social, bubbly, and guaranteed to keep the good vibes flowing, Julia brings contagious energy, plenty of laughs, and a fun-loving spirit wherever she goes.

Agus grew up in the beautiful city of Bandung, Indonesia. His career in Hotels before moving to the cruise ship industry in 2000. Fast forward to 2013, Agus joined the yachting industry where he thrives. Agus goal was to travel around the world while he is working as a seafarer and in his 24 years at sea he has seen a lot. When at home, Agus loves spending time with his wife and two children. Known onboard as the “Laundry King,” Agus is the go-to expert for any stain, fabric challenge, or garment emergency. Whether it needs rescuing, pressing, or finishing to the highest standard, Agus has it covered every time.

Yudha lives in the small town of Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, and is known for being honest, kind- hearted, and always ready to help others. He began his career working on cruise ships back in 1998 and has been part of the yacht industry since 2018, where he takes great pride in ensuring everything is spotlessly clean and perfectly cared for. Alongside his work onboard, Yudha also runs a small home-based business doing laundry for local university students — keeping the next generation looking sharp one wash at a time. When he’s not working, he enjoys cycling, anything automotive, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his family. Reliable, hardworking, and quietly full of character, Yudha brings a warm, easygoing energy wherever he goes — and a serious talent for keeping things fresh, folded, and flawless.

Alex is from Newcastle, England, and brings a wealth of marine experience from working across large ships, cruise liners, and superyachts. When he’s not onboard M/Y Wanderlust, he’s at home with his wife and two young daughters, proudly embracing life as a full-time girl dad. A lifelong Newcastle United fan, Alex never misses a match — through wins, losses, and everything in between (character- building is part of the experience). Calm, reliable, and always up for a laugh, he’s always the one quietly working behind the scenes fixing everything, the ultimate handyman onboard.

If you haven’t already guessed from the auburn locks, Steven is originally from Scotland, although these days he much prefers warmer temperatures and calls Cyprus home. He brings years of marine engineering experience to M/Y Wanderlust, having started his engineering cadetship at just 16 years old. His mornings start with coffee and a game of chess — he insists the engine room runs better once he’s already won something before breakfast. A lover of all sports and a keen follower of the financial markets, Steven can break down the weekend’s sporting action and this morning’s interest rates in the same conversation (whether you asked or not). Always thinking three moves ahead, he keeps everything below deck running like clockwork.

Josh is a skilled and dedicated Second Engineer from Newcastle, UK, who began his maritime career at just 16 years old. With a natural passion for engineering and mechanics, he quickly set himself on a path to success, qualifying as an Engineering Officer by the age of 20. Outside of the engine room, Josh is an active and adventurous character. He enjoys downhill mountain biking, football, and paddle, and is rarely far from a DIY home renovation project, always finding new ways to put his engineering skills to good use, true handy man! If Josh were a tool, he’d be an adjustable spanner: versatile and reliable. Known onboard as the chatty man, he’s always up for a good yarn, although you may need to ask him to repeat his stories a few times to fully understand his thick (and very entertaining) accent. If karaoke night rolls around he’d be belting Oliva Dean with the Interior.

Ross has been going to sea since he was 17, starting out in the North Sea on offshore supply vessels before earning his Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering. He has since gained strong experience within the Superyacht industry, working on vessels ranging from 80-140 meters, and is steadily progressing towards his goal of becoming Chief Engineer. Outside of work, Ross is a keen mountain climber currently tackling the Scottish Munros and was part of a team that summited Kilimanjaro in 2022. When not in the mountains, he enjoys staying active through running and bouldering.

Max or Mr Tech brings over two decades of experience in AV/IT systems, specializing in superyachts since 2015. He’s collaborated with top integrators and shipyards on some of the largest private yachts worldwide. Recently, Max served as yard representative on a 146-meter Lürssen new build, overseeing AV/IT, Security, and Communication Systems. Known for his meticulous approach and flexible work ethic, he ensures onboard systems run flawlessly for a seamless guest experience. Max is the absolute brains of the boat — downtime isn’t really a thing for him. When he’s not solving complex technical
challenges, you might find him leaning into dangerous corners on his motorbike or tinkering in his warehouse full of gadgets. His favourite? The Proxmox cluster he built himself. Max thrives on
challenges and loves pushing boundaries, both on board and off.

Joey grew up in the UK and has been on or around the ocean his entire life. After completing a boat-building apprenticeship, he pursued a career in the superyacht industry, a path that has taken him around the world, from the South Pacific to the Mediterranean. Don’t let the engine room fool you, at heart, Joey is a true watersports man. A world sailing race winner (ask him to show you the photos, they’re incredible), he has sailed around Thailand with a member of Nirvana, knows every lyric to Smells Like Teen Spirit, and even plays the harmonica. He’s also an avid scuba diver with over 300 dives under his belt, having explored dive sites across the globe. Blending the technical brain of an engineer, the fitness of a watersports athlete, and the creativity of a musician, Joe brings energy,
skill, and passion to everything he does onboard. When he’s off watch, you’ll likely find him running, sailing, scuba diving, or fishing, preferably somewhere with a good breeze and an even better view.

Elai is an accomplished Head Chef with experience aboard 85m luxury yachts and 60m sailing yachts in the high-end charter market. He combines expertise in both large motor yachts and performance sailing yachts to deliver refined, guest-focused cuisine tailored to each charter. From relaxed open- deck lunches to elegant multi-course fine-dining evenings, Elai adapts effortlessly to every cuisine, service style, and guest preference. Elai has strong curative opinions in the kitchen: caviar, unless it’s top-shelf it isn’t worth the price; chicken and dark chocolate make a surprisingly delicious pairing, you’ll hope he whips it and be sure to be pleasantly surprise you. Lastly, the biggest culinary debate? Pineapple on pizza — fine, but why not try jalapenos instead? Elai’s aways experimenting, always elevating, bring both precision and playful flair to every dish, he really is your go to culinary Mann.

Nick is a true Kiwi bloke, as we’d say down under in Australasia, at first glance you might think he’s abit too chilled to function… but you’d be wrong! Nick is an extremely passionate chef who has trained and worked in top-tier kitchens across New Zealand, Melbourne, and London, including under Michelin-starred chefs, honing his skills into the incredible chef he is today. Humble, personable, and positive, he believes a well-rounded, active lifestyle is the key to bringing focus, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to everything he does in the galley. Outside of work, Nick enjoys Outdoor sports, especially golf and tennis. All that pot-stirring has definitely given him a decent swing on the course.

Originally from Australia, Wade has been cooking professionally for over 25 years, with a career spanning high-pressure restaurant openings in Sydney, renowned kitchens in London, and more than a decode in yachting. Along the way, he has led large teams, run successful businesses, and built a reputation for delivering exceptional food in demanding environments. Passionate about creating memorable dining experiences, he thrives on the creativity, variety, and fast pace of life at sea. Whether cooking for owners, guests, or crew, he brings a calm attitude, attention to detail, and a good sense of humour to every service. When he's not in the galley, you'll find him spending time with the people and pup he's most proud of-his three children, his dog Lucky, and his partner of 18 years, whom he met through yachting. A true foodie and family man, he's always happy to share a great meal and a good story.
