Dimitri has been sailing and around boats since childhood. He has a merchant navy licence, lots of miles, passages and 30 years of chartering experience mostly in the Med but also in the Caribbean Sea.
He will make you feel comfortable, safe and relaxed on the yacht, and has a vast knowledge of the Greek islands which is the area he usually operates the yacht, although not excluding other areas of the Mediterranean which he has also cruised. Coming from a Greek father and British mother he is bilingual, he also speaks some French.
He loves diving, trekking, nature and is never tired of cruising the islands, he also knows all the good places to go out.
The moment you step aboard Daphne’s Smile your holiday has started and life’s stresses are already far away. Dimitri has a great understanding at what is best for each party and together, with his crew, puts all his effort to make your trip special, with the daily itinerary customised for every group.
Dimitri loves and respects the sea and his work.
Eugenia
Stewardess & Chef2017 is Eugenia’s 2nd season onboard, her main profession is archaeology but in the
summers she works onboard with Dimitri and in the winter she yacht races with him at
weekends.
She speaks good English and is very responsible, a good cook and sailor and an enjoyable
person to be around
