Equipaggio
Captain Somkit, has 33 years of sailing experience and has helmed charter cruises in South East Asia, primarily Singapore and Malaysia. Notably he has 3 years experience with 5 star hotel as chief engineer for the Man Puri's 33 meter yacht. His largest crew was for the 22 meter Corona a diving boat where where he captained for a crew of seven.
In 2008 he successfully obtained certification as skipper for vessels of over 500 tonnes. Captain Somkid has been captain of M/ S L’Orientale since January 2018.
Khun Wanpan Tapsiri
Hostess
Khun Wanpan speaks Thai, Khmer, Lao and English. With roots in quality control in Thai car factories, her hospitality experience began with two year's experience as a manager of Luxury Villas in Samui Island, a famed tourist destination. In 2017 she obtained certification as First Class Power Vessel Helmsman. She is also a massage therapist, having been awarded several diplomas from Taralai Thai Massage School in Bangkok. Khun Wanpan joined L’Orientale's crew as Main Hostess in charge of customer service two years ago.

Hostess & Chef
Chonticha ( Jeab) started her career as a massage therapist but now has more than 5 years of experience as a hostess and chef aboard yachts in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. She specializes in Thai cuisine and has been with M/S L'Orientale for over one year.
