Ivan Trgo
SailorIvan Trgo is the sailor on the gullet Morning Star. He was born on the 19th of March in 1988. He attended vocational high school for electronic technicians. After high school, he attended the Maritime Faculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license.
He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants as a waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in the Split shipyards. In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the ship. During the year, he lives in Ireland, so his English is at an excellent level.
In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling. He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an
excellent host and communicator.
Kresimir Trgo
WaiterKrešimir Trgo was born on 11 November 2000. Although very young he is experienced in working as a sailor and a waiter. He was connected with the sea from the early ages, as he started sailing with Optimist on his own when he was 7 years old. During that time, he learned all about the winds and currents and gained his knowledge of life on the sea. When he was 16 he started working with his brother Domagoj on their yacht Morning Star and from that time on he succeeds to win over all the guests with his smile and kindness. Meanwhile, he learned all about luxury service while working on yacht and in restaurants. At this moment, during the winter, he is studying Maritime Electrotechnical and Information Technologies on Faculty of maritime studies.
Jure Blandzic
ChefOur chef Jure Bilandžić who has a contagiously cheerful temper was born May 13th 1985 in Sinj, a small town near Split where he also finished his education. He dedicated his life to always gaining new experiences so he even spent some time abroad to learn new skills. He worked in one of the oldest restaurants in Croatia located in Dalmatia, so he is very well practiced and loves Mediterranean cuisine, especially sea food.
His hobbies are painting, statuary and photography which means his food will always look great on the plate but probably taste even better. He speaks fluent English and has some German knowledge as well.
