After school, Colin was eager to travel and learn more about what life aboard entailed. As a young, hardworking South African, having a UK residency, he aspired to find a job and started working at Cockwells Modern and Classic boatbuilders in Cornwall England. Thereafter, Colin’s positive attitude and willingness to learn, got him a permanent position onboard M/Y Hermitage. He has gained travel and sea experience on two other privately owned yachts that took him to some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world, including French Polynesia and Fiji. Colin is a great team player and he is always willing to help where needed.
