Grant was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He grew up traveling the coastline where he enjoyed surfing, swimming, sailing and boating.

When Grant finished his final year of high school and was very happy to learn that he had been accepted to study a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship in a great university in Pretoria. Being a very sociable and driven person, he enjoyed the aspects of Entrepreneurship which allowed him to create a business he could call his own. Grants business direction was discovered when he was introduced to the beignet. He wanted to bring this amazing dessert to all South Africans. Grant found a niche market and created ‘Beignet Brothers’ food truck in which they would attend festivals and fetes all across the country..

Being very busy with his business Grant never got a chance to be on the water or travel. He ultimately sold his business and transferred his life to yachting to which he has never looked back. Grant loves being near the water and is looking forward to sharing this with you.
