When it comes to motor yacht excellence, few vessels command attention quite like the yacht Solandge. This magnificent yacht represents the pinnacle of German engineering and sophisticated design, offering charter guests an experience that seamlessly blends opulence with cutting-edge technology. Built by the renowned Lürssen Yachts in 2013, the Solandge yacht has established itself as a firm favorite amongst discerning charterers seeking the ultimate luxury yacht experience.
Motor Yacht Solandge: An Engineering Marvel
At 85 meters, the motor yacht Solandge showcases the exceptional craftsmanship that Lürssen Yachts is celebrated for worldwide. Her steel hull and aluminum superstructure provide both strength and elegance, whilst the exterior styling by Espen Øino creates a profile that's instantly recognizable in any harbor. Espen Oeino's design philosophy is evident throughout - clean lines meet sophisticated proportions, resulting in a yacht that photographs beautifully from every angle.
The yacht Solandge achieves a cruising speed of 15 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots, powered by twin MTU engines. Her advanced speed stabilization system ensures exceptional comfort even in challenging sea conditions, virtually eliminating the roll motion effect that can affect similar yachts. This makes her ideal for extended voyages and allows charter guests to enjoy smooth passage between destinations.
Interior Design: Where Art Meets Functionality
Step aboard and you'll immediately understand why the superyacht Solandge receives such acclaim. The interior design, masterfully executed by Rodriguez Interiors, presents a stunning fusion of contemporary styling and timeless luxury. Rodriguez Interiors has created spaces that feel both grand and intimate, with beautiful wooden floors flowing throughout the main areas, complemented by honey onyx stone accents and granite surfaces that catch the Mediterranean light perfectly.
One of the most striking features throughout the yacht is the innovative use of materials. Two magnificent walls crafted from back lit amethyst create focal points that shimmer with natural beauty, whilst the gold leaf ceilings in key areas add a touch of regal splendor. The amethyst rose quartz crystals incorporated into various design elements aren't merely decorative - they create an ambience of calm sophistication that permeates every space.
The opulent interior extends across six expansive decks, each offering distinct experiences. The main salon sets the tone with its carefully curated artwork and plush furnishings, whilst the formal dining room accommodates all guests in refined comfort. Modern amenities are seamlessly integrated throughout, ensuring that technology enhances rather than intrudes upon the elegant esthetic.
Accommodation: Exceptional Staterooms for Every Guest
The yacht Solandge accommodates twelve charter guests across seven exceptional staterooms, each a masterpiece of comfort and design. The large individualized owners deck occupies an entire level, providing a true sanctuary at sea. This owner's suite features its own private office, a private outdoor seating area, and an own private spa pool - making it one of the world's largest and most luxurious master accommodations afloat.
The private pool on the owner's deck is a particularly special feature. Imagine relaxing in your own heated spa whilst watching the sun set over the Mediterranean, complete privacy assured. The suite also includes a massage room, steam room, and beauty salon, essentially creating a personal wellness center that rivals the finest land-based spas.
Beyond the owner's suite, the VIP suite on the bridge deck provides nearly equal grandeur. This expansive accommodation features beautiful wooden floors, a private seating area, and ensuite facilities that include both a spa pool and steam room. It's worth noting that the VIP suite alone could serve as a master on many smaller luxury yachts - such is the scale and quality of the Solandge's offerings.
The remaining accommodation comprises two spacious cabins configured as doubles, two twin cabins that can convert to doubles, and additional guest rooms that provide flexibility for larger parties or when sleeping overnight with extended family groups. Every cabin benefits from ensuite facilities, ample storage, and the same attention to detail evident throughout the yacht.
Charter guests particularly appreciate that each of the ensuite cabins has been individually designed, avoiding the cookie-cutter approach sometimes seen on similar yachts. Whether you're allocated one of the two twin cabins or one of the further two doubles, you'll find unique design elements and the same commitment to luxury that defines the Solandge experience.
Entertainment and Social Spaces: Built for Celebration
Few motor yachts offer the entertainment capabilities of the superyacht Solandge. The sun deck has been specifically designed as a party space, featuring a removable sundeck dance floor that can be customized for any occasion. This customized dance floor, complete with professional DJ station and premium sound system, transforms the upper deck into a nightclub under the stars.
The DJ setup large enough to rival shore-side venues, and the wet bar ensures drinks flow freely during evening celebrations. When nine guests or more gather for a large gathering, the dance floor becomes the natural focal point of the party. During quieter moments, this same space serves as an elegant sundeck with comfortable lounging areas and panoramic views.
The beach club area on the tank deck represents another triumph of yacht design. This space opens directly to the sea, with the tender garage transforming to create a beach club atmosphere. It's here that the yacht truly comes alive during water sports activities, with easy access to the sea and space for the vessel's numerous crew to organize equipment efficiently.
Wellness and Relaxation: Your Private Spa at Sea
Beyond the owner's private facilities, Solandge offers wellness amenities that charter guests can enjoy throughout their voyage. The massage room provides a tranquil setting for professional treatments, whilst the steam room offers therapeutic benefits after active days on the water. The interior photos barely capture the serene atmosphere these spaces provide - it's something that must be experienced firsthand.
The main deck features additional relaxation areas, including comfortable seating arranged to maximize views and sunshine. The bridge deck offers more intimate spaces, perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. What sets the yacht Solandge apart is the thoughtful distribution of these spaces - you're never searching for somewhere peaceful to retreat, yet social areas remain easily accessible.
The magnificent walls featuring back lit amethyst rose quartz crystals create a particularly soothing environment in the wellness areas. The soft glow and natural properties of these stones contribute to an atmosphere that promotes genuine relaxation rather than mere luxury.
Toys, Tenders, and Water Sports
Like any proper luxury yacht charter, the motor yacht Solandge comes equipped with an impressive array of water toys and tenders. The tender garage houses multiple craft for guest use, including jet skis for those seeking adrenaline, as well as paddleboards, seabobs, and diving equipment for underwater exploration.
The crew maintains all equipment to impeccable standards, and they're always ready to assist charter guests in making the most of these amenities. Whether you want to explore secluded coves, try wakeboarding, or simply cruise to shore for lunch, the Solandge's tender fleet ensures you travel in comfort and style.
For those less interested in high-energy water sports, the yacht offers alternatives like the platform for easy swimming access, snorkeling equipment, and inflatable toys that provide hours of entertainment for guests of all ages. The beach club area makes launching any activity remarkably convenient.
The Crew: Service Excellence as Standard
Behind every exceptional yacht charter lies an outstanding crew, and the vessel's numerous crew aboard the Solandge set the benchmark for professional service. Accommodating up to 27 crew members, this yacht maintains a guest-to-crew ratio that ensures personalized attention throughout your voyage.
From the captain's navigation expertise to the chef's culinary artistry, from the chief stewardess's attention to detail to the deckhands' efficiency with water sports equipment, every team member contributes to creating seamless experiences for charter guests. The crew work largely behind the scenes, anticipating needs before they're voiced and ensuring that your focus remains on enjoyment rather than logistics.
Many charterers return to the yacht Solandge specifically because of the crew's professionalism and warmth. They strike that perfect balance between attentive service and respecting guests' privacy—a skill that separates good yacht crews from exceptional ones.
Why Charter the Solandge?
Several factors distinguish the motor yacht Solandge from similar yachts in her class:
Scale and Space: At 85 meters with six expansive decks, she offers room to truly spread out. You'll never feel cramped, even with a full complement of twelve guests aboard.
Unique Design Elements: Those two magnificent walls of back lit amethyst, the gold leaf ceilings, the honey onyx stone accents - Rodriguez Interiors created something genuinely special here, not just another nice yacht interior.
Owner's Deck Experience: The large individualized owners deck with its private pool, massage room, steam room, and beauty salon creates an experience that's extraordinarily rare.
Entertainment Capabilities: From the removable sundeck dance floor with DJ station to the beach club area, Solandge is built for celebration in ways that many charter yachts simply aren't.
Lürssen Quality: Building on decades of shipbuilding expertise, Lürssen Yachts delivered a vessel that combines reliability with innovation - important considerations for week-long charters far from shore facilities.
Espen Øino Exterior: Espen Oeino's design has aged beautifully. Despite launching in 2013, the yacht looks thoroughly contemporary, avoiding dated styling that affects some vessels from that era.
Planning Your Solandge Charter
Booking a yacht charter of this caliber requires advance planning. Peak Mediterranean summer dates—particularly July and August - book many months ahead. Charter guests seeking specific weeks should engage with brokers early in the planning process.
Your charter broker will discuss the yacht's capabilities, help plan an itinerary suited to your interests, and coordinate details like provisioning preferences, water sports priorities, and any special occasions you're celebrating. They'll also handle contractual matters and ensure you understand what's included versus what constitutes additional expenses.
Most charters run for one week, though longer bookings can often be accommodated. The yacht Solandge requires a certain minimum charter period, and pricing varies by season and specific dates. Your broker will provide detailed information on current rates and availability.
Interior Photos and Virtual Tours
Whilst interior photos provide glimpses of the Solandge's beauty, they can't fully capture the experience of being aboard. The scale of the spaces, the quality of materials, and the thoughtful design flow between areas all become apparent only when you step aboard. That said, reviewing available imagery and deck plans helps you understand the yacht's layout and envision how your group might use different spaces.
The huge elevator connecting decks proves particularly appreciated by guests with mobility considerations or simply those who prefer not to navigate stairs constantly. It's these practical touches - alongside the obvious luxury - that make the yacht Solandge such a successful charter vessel.
Making Memories Aboard
What truly distinguishes any luxury yacht charter isn't the specifications or features - it's the memories created. Perhaps it's dancing under the stars on that customized dance floor whilst cruising past illuminated coastal villages. Maybe it's a quiet morning in your own private pool, watching dolphins play in the yacht's wake. Or it could be gathering your entire group for a formal dinner in the main salon, crystal glasses catching the light from those gold leaf ceilings.
The yacht Solandge provides the setting; you provide the celebration. Whether it's a milestone birthday, a family reunion, a corporate retreat, or simply a holiday with friends who appreciate the finer things, this magnificent yacht adapts to your vision.
Conclusion: The Solandge Yacht Experience
The superyacht Solandge represents German engineering at its finest, brought to life through Espen Øino's exterior vision and Rodriguez Interiors' spectacular interior design. From the steel hull that provides stability to the beautiful wooden floors that add warmth, from the two spacious cabins on the upper deck to the exceptional staterooms throughout, every element has been considered and executed to the highest standards.
For charter guests seeking a motor yacht that combines space, style, and substance, the yacht Solandge delivers comprehensively. The private pool on the owner's deck, the removable sundeck dance floor for evening entertainment, the chic beach club area for water sports - these aren't marketing talking points but genuine features that enhance your charter experience daily.
Built by Lürssen Yachts with their legendary attention to detail and finished to standards that exceed even elevated expectations, the Solandge yacht offers something increasingly rare: authenticity in a segment sometimes criticized for style over substance. Here, you get both - and then some.
Whether you're already familiar with yacht charter or considering your first luxury yacht experience, the motor yacht Solandge deserves your attention. She's not just another yacht; she's a testament to what's possible when the world's finest builders, designers, and craftspeople collaborate on creating something extraordinary.
